In light of everything that's happening, we wanted to share out some Black-owned arts initiatives that you can support, be aware of, or benefit from:

National Black Arts is a nonprofit organization with a legacy of providing stellar artistic and educational programs in music, dance, film, visual arts, theater, and the literary arts.

The Black Art Futures Fund (BAFF) is a collective of emerging philanthropists promoting the elevation and preservation of Black arts & culture. Through grant making, board-matching, and organization-to-donor cultivation, we seek to amplify and strengthen the future of Black art. We provide grants to small ($750K or less) nonprofit organizations working to enhance the future of Black arts & culture.

The Association of Black Museums is a non-profit member organization established to support African and African American focused museums nationally and internationally, as well as the professionals who protect, preserve and interpret African and African American art, history and culture.

Black Art Matters is a docu-series that portrays contemporary Black artists and the politics of their work.

Project Row Houses is a Houston-based community platform that enriches lives through art with an emphasis on cultural identity and its impact on the urban landscape. We engage neighbors, artists, and enterprises in collective creative action to help materialize sustainable opportunities in marginalized communities.
