January Feature Digest: Ticket selling, guest previews, and more!

We've been working on a bunch of new features and improvements since last we wrote. Here are a few we're especially excited to share:

Ticketing is live! To start using our ticketing system for your events, go to your Account Settings page and connect a Stripe account. Once this is connected, from your event page, you can choose free/ticketed in a dropdown menu, just below your event's title. We have great support for suggested donation events, but you can also do fixed price tickets. Our fees (1% + $.30 per ticket) are way lower than the competitors' and we don't redirect your guests away from your invitation in order to buy tickets.

We also now have a Preview as Guest button, which allows you to see the event as it will appear for your guests, to make sure all your GIFs are poppin'.

It's easier than ever for your guests to add the event to their calendars: the invitation email includes add-to-calendar links, and the RSVP confirmation email has an attached calendar file that Gmail knows how to use. Also, it's now a one-click process for folks to RSVP right from the invitation email!

What else? There's a shiny host badge on your calendar page, to make it easier to see which events you're hosting. You can now make text bold or italic in your event description (just highlight the text and a tooltip will appear).
