Introduce your business.

At Zaza's Kitchen we believe that everyone can wear the chef’s hat. Through our signature custom culinary experience, I’ll lead you in a virtual cooking class to help you feel more comfortable and confident in the kitchen. Bring a Zaza's Kitchen recipe to life from prep to plate at your next girl's night, at-home date night, team bonding event, or corporate event! My mission is that everyone deserves good, wholesome food and I am creating a platform that is accessible for all backgrounds and incomes. Healthy food should be a right for everyone. I offer virtual cooking classes, both scheduled and customizable.

How often do you host events?

Right now I’m hosting weekly scheduled public classes plus private customizable bookings.

What’s an upcoming event you’re organizing that you’re most excited about?

I’m creating a meal prep class to teach people how to cook in bulk and spice it up, such as chicken, rice and veggies and how to manipulate the ingredients to create easy variations. Also I created a recipe for creamy tomato risotto with Italian meatballs that I’m really excited to teach!

Have you always hosted virtual events or how have they become part of your business this year?

This is a pandemic baby, totally new for 2020. I always loved to help people cook in the kitchen, I would help friends with meal prep, share recipes and come up with Pinterest boards, but I never started teaching cooking classes until this year. It started on Instagram Live when I shared what I was cooking and people tuned in. I turned it into a series, and then offered private classes and now public offerings. With social media anything is possible.

If someone was looking to host an event for their first time, any words of wisdom you would give them?

Be in love with whatever it is you're doing. It touches people when they can tell you're passionate about the work that you do.

Since using Mixily, what is your favorite feature?

How accessible and user friendly it is for the customer and the creator.

Do you have any pre-event rituals to get you in the groove like a favorite drink, snack, song or outfit?

Definitely music, I tell Alexa to turn on my upbeat music.

I have notebooks for everything where I write down ideas.

Any new favorite podcasts, books or TV shows you’ve discovered this year?

Love Is Bling I just started this week, I’m always late. Also Lovecraft Country.

What is your favorite or most used emoji?
